Abstrakt EN: Risk management is a very broad and important task in the management area. Risk management means applying a systematic approach to assessing and acting on risks in order to ensure that organisational objectives are achieved. Many papers deal with risk management issues in the areas of strategy, operations, finance and information security. The number of papers shows how important this topic is. Because of changes in society and implementation of a new manufacturing concept based on Industry 4.0, risk management can play and important role in effective management. On the other hand, many papers deal with the concept of ‘sustainability’, which is the key element of a Sustainability Enterprise Risk Management system (SERM). A SERM system includes the more traditional elements of risk embedded within an organisation: financial, operational, infrastructure and IT risks as well as regulatory and compliance issues. A SERM strategy should contain the following key areas: planning, people, processes and performance.
